One good choice is Boulders Beach, which is beautiful, and the best part is that you will get to see penguins.
Lastly, if you are interested in South African history, Robben Island will appeal to you greatly. There are many great things to see, and it is extremely inexpensive. Your ticket will include a ferry there and back, and you pay half price for children.
